After discussions we have had with the French authorities, we understand the consequences of Brexit over yachting to be the following:

 

→ UK FLAG VAT paid yachts, willing to leave the EU, have to secure their VAT paid status by a temporary export customs declaration.

→ When these yachts come back in the European Union for a new season, they will have to be imported through the returned goods relief. This regime will need to be formalized through an importation at arrival in the EU.
