EXPORTATION PROCEDURE

Aug. 12, 2020 |  Customs & Tax - Blog -

If you are planning to leave the European Union (EU), do not forget to check beforehand whether you must file an exportation declaration.

Any non-EU yacht released for free circulation or formally imported into the European Union must file a formal exportation declaration when leaving the EU waters. This also applies to yachts imported many years ago.

For example, if your yacht was imported under the French commercial exemption or under the French reverse charge, an exportation declaration is mandatory to close the scheme before you exit the European Union.

YMCA can assist you with filing these exportation declarations in France where the procedure is fast and straightforward.
